Naruto is the most famous Shonen series and it’s highly unlikely that someone is unfamiliar with this series. But even if you’re unfamiliar with Naruto, maybe the lockdown and the immense boredom levels might motivate you to check out this crazy but worth-it-action anime series.
In Crazy Knuckle-Headed Ninja, Uzumaki Naruto is the main protagonist of the series. The series (first) opened with a good introduction, character designs and background, and a detailed plot with too many hidden details and a good motivation for plot development.
The series was breath of fresh air, set in the ninja universe of a not-so-developed nation that lacked technological developments. Naruto’s premise started with a lot of mystery and one of the mysterious settings or plot devices was the central character of the series Naruto himself.
The series portrayed the central character Naruto as someone hated, pitiful, lonely, and untouchable. Naruto in simple terms was a social outcast in the Konoha village.
Like the real society and something seen very common in many cultures or countries, it seems having no parents (orphan) or lack of parental influence is treated badly in society. Naruto never knew of his parents and was an orphan in the Konoha village.
His parents Minato and Kushina died shortly after his birth. The plot raised many questions and triggers curiosity and one of them is that if Naruto is an orphan, who was seen living alone without any guardian, how is he faring? Who raised Naruto after Minato and Kushina died?
Why did Kurama kill Minato and Kushina?

The opening showed that a nine-tailed beast nearly destroyed the village. Konoha received heavy damages from the onslaught of the demon.
The nine-tailed beast or Kurama tried to destroy the village and in the process, the 4th Hokage, Minato sealed him into his newborn child Naruto.
As a result, the Fourth Hokage used the Reaper sealing or the death god sealing technique which kills the host in the process. Kushina died shortly after giving birth to Naruto.
Who Raised Naruto After Minato and Kushina Died?
It did seem like Konoha didn’t have any welfare or orphanage system. He didn’t have any official guardian appointed and it seems that he was living alone. He had a house, money to live his day-to-day life, and money or financial support to attend Konoha Academy.
It’s possible that the financial resources were covered by inheritance left by Minato or that the Third Hokage Sarutobi provided him support. It is clearly evident through flashbacks in the series that only a handful of children and their families allowed their wards to mingle with Naruto.
For the most part, Naruto had a very lonely and hard childhood. The Third Hokage could be his financial backer and well-wisher, but he was not directly involved in his upbringing.
Who took care of Naruto as a baby?

It’s highly possible that the Third Hokage took care of Naruto as a child. He and Naruto did share some sort of ambiguous relationship and Naruto would often damage and create pranks on the Hokage statues to get Sarutobi’s attention as he was lonely.
Regardless, it is highly plausible that Sarutobi didn’t want to burden Naruto with his status of Hokage, and this is the reason he was seen growing up alone. Sarutobi must have kept tabs on him and it’s evident he wanted and tried his best to protect Naruto as the child of his former mentee.
The Third Hokage will be very near to Naruto’s Godfather, which is why his death impacted Naruto very badly.
Why was Naruto all alone?

It was weird but not shocking enough how Naruto was branded as a social outcast, and both adults and children kept avoiding him like the plague. It was never made public knowledge that Naruto’s father was the Fourth Hokage who died while protecting the village.
It was even more absurd that they tried keeping his lineage a secret and ensured Naruto’s safety but failed to keep the most important part a secret! How did the villagers know about Naruto being a Jinchuriki host or that the beast was sealed inside him?
Guess even people in Konoha didn’t have tight lips and loved to gossip. Naruto was left all alone without any appropriately appointed guardian. Naruto created mischief and did everything to get the attention of the people around him.
Why did no one adopt Naruto? Why didn't Naruto have a foster family?

The misconception about Naruto and his background made him an outcast in the village. There can be many reasons but the main reason was that people were scared of the baby (Naruto) and the demon sealed inside him.
People were afraid of him and assumed him to be a live-ticking time bomb that can explode anytime and attack them. Society or Konoha saw him as a monster, rather than an innocent child. Society failed to protect Naruto in that sense.
Naruto was resented and hated throughout his childhood which is a very sad fact.
The second likely possibility is that there was a high risk of Naruto being misused, mistreated, or killed because he was a Jinchuriki host. People could adopt him and extract the Kyuubi from him, and in the process, kill him.
In the story, one by one, Naruto overcomes his hardships and gained the trust of the people. It started with Iruka sensei and reached a global scale.
Naruto fans commend and salute him for his positivism, upbeat nature, knuckleheadedness, and strong determination. Naruto made his parents, mentors, and teachers proud despite lacking parentage and being treated like a social outcast.
Who knew Naruto was Minato's son?

This is a very striking question. Who was aware that Naruto was the late 4th Hokage Minato’s child? The people of Konoha were aware that Naruto was a Jinchuriki host, but why were they unaware of Naruto’s origins and lineage?
Everyone in the village poorly treated him because he was an orphan. His birth and lineage were kept a secret known in close circles, but it does beg the question as to who was aware of Naruto’s parents.
Besides the Hokage, Kakashi, Jiraiya, and the upper brass of the Konoha were aware of Minato’s child. The parents of Naruto’s generation were aware of Naruto’s real identity.
It’s surprising because it seems that even Itachi was aware of who naruto was and his relationship with Minato.
Why did Mikoto not adopt Naruto?

Mikoto and Kushina were pals, so it’s very surprising that she didn’t adopt Naruto. If Mikoto had adopted Naruto, then Naruto would have grown up in a strict setting, may have been trained rigorously, and might have had better command at jutsus. He would have been very similar to Sasuke.
This would have been very different for Naruto, and his personality might have not been the way it is in the present. Landing off at the Uchiha household was not a good prospect.
The possible reason why Naruto was not allowed to be adopted in the Uchiha household was mainly due to the fact that the Uchihas were planning a coup for a very long time. Adding Naruto would give them an unfair advantage and the ability to monopolize and control the Jinchuriki.
This could have been the most significant reason probably why Naruto was not adopted by anyone in the village. Not everyone could have possibly hated him, and it’s most likely due to the fact he was always under constant microscopic observation.
Why did Naruto choose Iruka?

Iruka was a good teacher who never showed any favouritism or partiality towards his students. Naruto’s childhood was really lonely and messed up. It was sad that no one realized the true potential of Naruto any sooner. Iruka sensei was the person to understand and realize Naruto’s true potential.
He knew that Naruto was clumsy, hardworking, earnest, and mischievous. Iruka sensei was the person who truly accepted Naruto for who he really is.
He tried to protect Naruto when he stole the forbidden scroll and refused to let him get hurt. He was really concerned and worried about Naruto going the wrong way in life and what if he got hurt. Iruka was well aware of Naruto’s pain and loneliness.
Had Iruka sensei not intervened in Naruto’s life, who knew the Naruto we knew, would have not been that way? Iruka sensei was the first persona to verbally acknowledge Naruto and tell him that “He can do it”, which is why their bond is truly special.
Does Iruka hate Naruto?
Iruka’s parents were killed by the Kyuubi, so it was difficult for him to teach Naruto in the beginning, but he never particularly hated Naruto.
Iruka and Naruto share many similarities like both of them like pranking people and were mischievous. He took care of Naruto and even gave his headband to him as a token of appreciation and acknowledgement.
Naruto was also very furious when Iruka sensei got hurt. He mastered the shadow clone Jutsu and rescued Iruka sensei from danger.
Did Iruka save Naruto?

It’s not farfetched but both of them saved each other. Iruka saved Naruto in a way that gave Naruto the warmth that he lacked his entire life.
He acknowledged Naruto and they share a special bond of sensei and student. Naruto really respects and cares about Iruka. Iruka’s presence has a positive effect on Naruto’s life.
What if Naruto never met Iruka?

Iruka was the first person who was truly special to Naruto. It was the first bond he had in Konoha. Without Iruka’s presence, Naruto might have strayed from the right path or had a very bitter opinion toward the village.
It’s likely possible he would have wanted revenge like Sasuke or Joined Akatsuki for power or hurting people who hurt him in the past.
Why didn’t Kakashi raise Naruto?

It wasn’t Kakashi’s personality or his responsibility to raise Naruto. Kakashi, knowing his position as an ANBU member and later Jounin didn’t want to endanger Naruto.
It’s likely possible that he wasn’t allowed to raise Naruto. However, as a teacher and his mentor, Kakashi did teach Naruto and he knew what Naruto was capable of.
What if the Akatsuki raised Naruto?

If Naruto would have been raised by the Akatsuki, this would have been a very disastrous situation for everyone involved, especially the Konoha. There are many scenarios that could have played out.
The first would be Naruto either killed or his tailed beast extracted from him, and he could have become the puppet of Akatsuki in a literal and metaphorical sense.
Had they spared his life, he would have become evil and exacted revenge on Konoha and the entire world for looking down on him.
Who is Naruto's father figure?

That’s a very debatable topic but there are many who come close to that. Iruka sensei is definitely close to a father figure. As for grandfather Both Jiraiya sensei and The Third Hokage Sarutobi would be close in that relationship.
But no one can probably become Naruto’s father as the place is fixed for Minato only. Because of the positive influence of so many people, Naruto became the hero who saved the Konoha village. His journey was not easy, but he made it to fulfil his dream.
