There are a lot of fan favourite animes, but the one which stands out the most is Haikyuu!!. The all-famous sports anime got famous quite after its release. This sports anime makes it difficult for fans to choose their favourite character. The anime is cram-packed with talented volleyball players. Each position is filled with well-deserving players be it any position Captain, setter, libero, or spiker. Let's see which MBTI personality type they all fit into.

What is MBTI?

The Myers-Briggs personality types are broken up into Introverted(I), Extroverted(E), Intuitive(N), Observant(S), Feeling(F), Thinking(T), and finally Prospecting(P) and Judging(J). The different combinations of all these types make 16 different personalities to which people can relate. This trend got very famous recently and is also often used to create and relate to Haikyuu characters. Here is who you would be from Haikyuu on the basis of your MBTI type.

10) INFP, The Mediator- Koshi Sugawara

His super good nature and always searching for the good in others makes him a perfect INFP. He knows how to bring out the good in others which he always does. He is fun-loving and likes to create chaos in the team. Despite being off-court he makes sure to keep the team intact. He constantly teases the younger members but at the same time, he has his priorities set. He always treats the first years with kindness and is always by their side whenever they need advice. Even though INFPs are said to be Introverts, they can easily relate and speak to people they are comfortable with.  This is the trait Sugawara always had.

9) ENTJ, The Commander- Tetsuro Kuroo

Tetsuro Kuroo is the captain of the Nekoma High School Volleyball team and is the most comical person around everyone. He has a comic rivalry with Daichi and never misses a moment to make fun of him or the Karasuno Team. This is the reason he makes for an amazing ENTJ. Despite having this fun personality, his commander attitude never leaves his side. Kuroo displays the perfect traits of being the commander and the captain of the team. He commands his team with perfect charisma and knows everyone's strengths and weaknesses. He can always find a way to win the game.

8) INTJ, The Architect- Tobio Kageyama

Being one of the main characters of the show, Kageyama shows drastic changes in his personality throughout the show, but throughout it all, he stays pretty introverted having a hard time discussing his feelings and needs. This is why Kageyama is the perfect combination of INTJ both on and off-court.  As the main setter of the team, he always has to be alert and needs to fill himself with backup plans. He doesn't always convey his needs completely, but as the show moved forward his teammates started understanding him. This is how an INTJ is.

7) ESFP, The Entertainer- Yuu Nishinoya

If you want to see a person who literally lights up your day, it's Nishinoya. The libero of the Karasuno's team and the most extroverted person you'll ever come across. He is the loudmouth of the group. His personality can often confuse other people. He looks loud and eccentric on the outside but is a soft and defensive person on the inside. In his position, his job is to protect and defend his team, but despite such a heavy job he makes sure his teammates aren't struggling. He is goofy and has a loud personality but knows his responsibilities well. The show is never boring when he is around.

6) ISFJ, The Defender- Kiyoko Shimizu  

Kiyoko is the perfect ISFJ, being the manager of the Karasuno High School Volleyball team. She is the reason the team is still standing despite being dead for so many years. Even though, there was no hope for the team she always believed in Daichi and Sugawara. She is always there to make sure the team is fulfilling their needs and constantly rooting for them in hard situations. Though Shimizu keeps a straight face most of the time and may not display many emotions often, she deeply cares for them and roots for their success. She is warm-hearted and quite savage.

5) ESTP, The Entrepreuneur- Ryuunosuke Tanaka

Just like Nishinoya, Tanaka is loud and energetic as well and often acts as the spotlight of the show. Tanaka is the perfect ESTP in Haikyuu as he is also a lot like the entertainer personality type, which is why he and Nishinoya bounce off well. The major difference between them is that Tanaka wants to be the centre of attention all the time which is why he often shouts and plays with his loud antics. Tanaka wants to be the star, he is determined and wants to utilize his energy well. Tanaka has improved a lot since the beginning of the show.

4) ENFP, The Campaigner- Shoyo Hinata

Hinata is the protagonist of the series which is why he makes the perfect ENFP. He is always trying to do his best for his team and wants to make new friends. He is extroverted and talks to anyone he sees in the first place. ENFPs are said to be social butterflies, something Hinata totally displays whenever he meets a new character. Instead of feeling jealous or threatened by a new character, he is overwhelmed to have so many people around him.

3) ISTJ, The Logistician- Kei Tsukishima

Tsukishima is the quietest of all. He often appears to be annoyed at his teammates, especially Hinata and Kageyama. He never asks for help when in a problem instead he likes to contemplate how things are not working for him. He does not share any emotional attachment with anyone, not even his family, this is the exact reason why he is the perfect ISTJ.  While he may be extremely practical, but can make mistakes often. 2) ESFJ, The Consul- Toru Oikawa

Another energetic yet eccentric character on the show. Oikawa is one of the first rivals of Karasuno High. He's loud and totally full of himself in such a comical and cool way that he became a fan favourite. He is super famous among girls and is the star of the prefecture. He is a great ESFJ due to his fun-loving personality and caring nature. He is carefree but carries a fragile ego when on the court. Oikawa is always eager to be on the court and this is why he is one of the most threatening characters of the show.

1) INTP, The Logician- Kenma Kozume

Kenma is the most introverted character on the show. He rarely talks to anyone despite the game. He is the prime quality of an INTP. As he said, "I'm not good with people, and I don't want to interact with them." While he may be quiet, he is always watching and learning from each other's actions. He rarely shows any emotion but he deep-downs and cares for the game. He is extremely analytical and has a great sense of reading his rivals. He is also a great gamer.
