Death Parade is a 2015 anime series created, written, and directed by Yuzuru Tachikawa. It is available both as a short-animated film and series, in which whenever someone dies, they are sent to one of many mysterious bars run by bartenders serving as arbiters inside a tower of the afterlife. The people must compete in various death games to stay alive.

Kakegurui meaning ‘compulsive gambler’, is a Japanese manga series written by Homura Kawamoto. It also gave a jump start to many spin-off series. The story of Kakegurui takes place in the Hyakkou Private Academy, one of Japan’s most prestigious schools.
But unlike in other schools, the hierarchy is determined by gambling. The new transfer student, Yumeko Jabami, changes the whole system of the school as soon as she steps in.

Death Note is a Japanese Manga Series written by Tsugumi Ohba. The story revolves around a teen boy, Light Yagami who one day discovers a mysterious notebook, ‘Death note’. The notebook belonged to the Shinigami Ryuk, who grants the user the supernatural ability to kill anyone whose name is written on its pages.
The series centres around Light, who is hell-bent on creating a world of massacre. Death Note ran in the Shueisha’s weekly shonen magazine from December 2003 to May 2006. It is one of the most famous anime among beginners.
