The K drama industry is full of surprises every single day. A new drama cast is being laid as teams are trying to bring Park Hyung Sik and Jeon So Nee together for an upcoming romance K drama.

"Youth, Climbing The Barrier" is the K drama both have been approached for. The title is still in working. The K media outlet reported on June 14, that Jeon So Nee was approached for the role of the lead female in the drama. The Drama was previously named "The Golden Hairpin". Now given the title name "Youth, Climbing The Barrier" it sets in a historical background. It revolves around the story of  Prince Lee Hwan and an engaged woman Min Jae Yi.

Prince Lee Hwan suffers from a mysterious curse and will end up being saved by Min Jae Yi, who he sets on to save. Min Jae Yi is a gentlewoman, who is already engaged with an official's son and tries her best to be a good wife and mother. However, she is falsely accused of killing her family four days prior to getting married.

King Jinhueng (Park Hyung Sik)

As for Hyung Sik, he has already been a part of a historical Kdrama named "Hwarang: the poet warrior" where he played the role of King Jinhueng (Sam Maek Jong). His role was well appreciated by his fans and the K drama industry. The drama was one of the most famous Kdramas because of the storyline and of course the cast. Other than Hyung Sik it starred, Park Seo Joon, Choin Min Ho from the K-pop band Shinee, and Kim Taehyung(V) of BTS.

Park Hyung Sik was reportedly approached for the role of Prince Lee Hwan and Jeon So Nee for the role of Min Jae Yi.

The shooting is expected to begin in the second half of 2021.
