PA works animation studio since 2000 has unveiled its newest original upcoming anime named Aquatop of White Sand to be scheduled in July of 2021. It has been directed by Toshiya Shinohara who has also directed Nagiasu . The Director’s work in his previous anime, Nagiasu has been well appreciated.
The trailer for Aquatop of White Sand by PA Works has also been released. A lot can be seen from the trailer itself.
The main story revolves around a girl who works in an aquarium in Okinawa. Kukuru Umisakino, the protagonist is an 18-year-old girl in Okinawa who meets Fuuka Miyazawa and the story starts to entail.
From the poster, it can be suspected that this could be a Yuri anime. Yuri anime have recently made a fanbase so this just might be the right approach for this.
The trailer by PA Works gives a very warm vibe and sets a scene that almost feels nostalgic about something that you yourself have never experienced before. The Trailer has the tagline “The two girls met in the ruins of damaged dream.”
With an original story, This series seems promising with potentially big surprises in it.
