One Punch Man is surely one of the most popular superhero anime. It is famous for its light-hearted comedy, animation and characters. It was produced by Madhouse Studio and directed by Shingo Natsume. The second season released in April 2019 after four years. Chikara Sakurai replaced Shingo Natsume as the director. Looking at the popularity of the series worldwide, One Punch Man Season 3 should be coming soon. The pandemic brought by the Covid-19 virus has delayed the development of the series. Not only One Punch Man but many series is currently delayed due to the health situation.
One Punch Man series is an anime adaptation from the manga which tells us about the protagonist Saitama. He is having overwhelming strength and can defeat any monster with just one punch. He got bored of being so strong that he searches for opponents stronger than him. No matter how much confident and strong the enemy seems to be, he easily wins the fight.
Currently, the manga has released its 140th chapter. The manga is still on run so there will be no shortage of material for adaptation. Nobody has hinted that the manga will end in the near future. So, with the storyline of the second season of anime combined with currently 23 volumes of the manga. One can assume that there certainly be One Punch Man Season 3.
What to expect in One Punch Man Season 3?
From the plot of the second season, Monster Association will play a bigger part in the next season. There will be many new and powerful monsters. One of them would be the chief of Monster Association, Lord Orochi. So, the battle between heroes and new monsters will get more interesting.

Also, in season 2 Garou and Saitama never fought face to face. Once Garou tried to attack Saitama but it was of no use. Saitama replicated Garou’s martial art movement of the hand. This made Garou unconscious. The other instance was when Garou tried to attack King but Saitama kicks him away. So we all can expect a great battle between them in One Punch Man Season 3.
In the second season, Saitama’s screentime was relatively lesser than the first season. This trend may continue in One Punch Man Season 3 also. There could be some development in some characters like Genos, Mumen Rider and Garou. From the last two seasons, the show has already done a brilliant animation for the series. In One Punch Man Season 3, the animation and the sense of humour will not disappoint us. Both the previous seasons had 12 episodes each. So, it can be that the third season will also contain 12 episodes.
