One Punch Man Season 1 Episode 5 title is “The Ultimate Master.” In episode 4 post-credits, we see Saitama and Genos arrive at the Hero Test center. One Punch Man Episode 5 revolves around the Hero Association test. Who’s the mysterious character that shows up to warn Genos. Let’s find out. I’m excited to review Episode 5, the title makes me curious.

One Punch Man Season 1 Episode 5 starts with a Hero association meeting. They express interest in Genos and it seems that they are monitoring him. Saitama had no difficulties in acing all the physical tests. His strength drew a lot of attention among his peers and left them surprised. Saitama was in full-on active mode!

Saitama was feeling confident. It turns out Genos aced both the written and fitness test and did well. He makes it in S class whereas Saitama gets into C class. It was surprising to see Saitama didn’t fare well in the written tests. Now, both Saitama and Genos are officially Heroes.

Mysterious Hottie spotted! Another hero (A-class) seems to have information about Genos. Wonder what his intentions are! On the other hand, Saitama and Genos attend an orientation. Genos is all serious while it was nice to see Saitama’s carefree and chill attitude.
 
Snek is unhappy with Saitama outranking him. He tries to challenge Saitama but without luck! Saitama defeats him with one punch!

Saitama and Genos rank last in the Hero registry. The discussion about hero nicknames was funny. As promised earlier, Saitama takes in Genos as his disciple. Genos asks him to fight seriously, to which he complies. He gets serious and attacks Saitama with all his might. Saitama gets serious and uses his strength only to stop midway.
Later, Saitama asks him to join for lunch and Genos is speechless. Genos looks puzzled and realizes that he’s nowhere near Saitama’s level. Genos follows him and they head out for udon noodles! Saitama deserves the title of “The Ultimate Master”!
Amai Mask in One Punch Man Season 1 Episode 5
The Class A hero (rank 1) turns out to be Amai Mask who decides to pay Genos a visit. Amai Mask seems like an idealist person who has his own twisted definition for things. This makes him an interesting character. Genos tries to provoke him but he doesn’t budge. Amai mask delivers a welcome gift and warns him.

Later Genos and Saitama part ways but Genos arrives at his home with all his belongings. Genos offers to live with him, but Saitama turns him down. Saitama immediately changes his mind after Genos offers him rent! This concludes One Punch Man Season 1 Episode 5. Episode 5 was comedic, intense, and full of surprises. It was nice to see Saitama-Genos’ relationship as master and disciple. Genos regards Saitama as “The Ultimate Master” for perfect reasons. I’m looking forward to episode 6!
