Charlotte Katakuri

One Piece is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Eiichiro Oda. This manga tells us a story about a 7-year-old boy, Monkey D Luffy who was in search of a treasure named “One Piece”.

We have talked a lot about Straw hat pirates, whitebeard, and many other famous pirates in the manga series. Now let’s talk about Charlotte Katakuri, the second son of the Yonko Charlotte Linlin.

Also known as Big Mom, and a member of the Big Mom Pirates in one piece. He is considered to be the strongest Sweet Commander in the crew whose power is second to the Captain herself.

Katakuri only has lost one fight in his whole existence, when he came at the hands of Luffy during the Whole Cake Island arc. His fight against Luffy gave the manga series fans the opportunity to explore his abilities to the fullest. Let's see which one of his attacks is the most powerful.

10. Mochi Hadan

Charlotte firing from his finger

Mochi Hadan, also known as Mochi Blade Bullet, is a long-ranged attack. He used the power of his Mochi Mochi Fruit to shoot the Mochi Bullets from his fingers. The bullets he used are coated in Armament Haki, which increases their power drastically.

This is very effective at long distances, as seen when it gave Luffy a hard time during the Whole Cake Island arc. Katakuri is extremely capable of close-ranged combat, but his ability of long-ranged fighting is astonishing as well.

9. Yanagi Mochi

Also known as Willow Mochi. It is said to be a technique that Katakuri First used during the beginning of his clash against Luffy. Because of this, Katakuri can create multiple legs and he rains them down onto his opponents.

Coupled with Katakuri’s future sight, this technique is pretty hard to dodge. This is powerful enough to shatter the ground without even using Haki.

8. Amadare Mochi

This is another strongest move of Katakuri shown in the manga series. Amadare Mochi is an awakened Devil Fruit attack which is also known as Raindrop Mochi. To use this technique Katakuri was supposed to turn his surroundings into Mochi with his devil fruit power.

Then he uses them as blunt weapons to hurt his opponents. This technique has great power and has the potential to end the fights within seconds and this is said to be one of the most famous moves of Katakuri. He can also bury enemies under Mochi constructs, causing them to suffocate and die.

This technique is also known as Mochi Thrust. Also said to be one of the strongest and sees him use his trident, Mogura, along with his Devil Fruit ability to increase its destructive powers.

Katakuri’s spins his arm at a very high speed to increase the penetration power of the trident. This can cause tremendous damage to the target.

6. Kaku Mochi

character performing his ability

This is used by Katakuri for close-ranged combat. Also known as Square Mochi. In this, he turns his arms into square-shaped blocks which are then imbued with Haki.

His high-level Haki should be praised as Kaku Mochi has a deadly ability. Luffy, despite having god Haki, got hurt very badly when typing to block Katakuri’s attack on him.

5. Yaki Mochi

Also known as Grilled Mochi, is said to be one of the longest-ranged attacks made by him that showed off against Luffy. As the name suggests, we really saw in the manga series that this technique of his grills his opponents by using a fiery Mochi first.

This attack has a very blazing speed. Even though Luffy had a good Haki was not able to react to Katakiuri's speed with this technique.

4. Chikara Mochi

Also known as Power Mochi. It is the most powerful move that Katakuri demonstrated against Gear Fourth for the very first time.

This technique of his has always made the use of Awakening. To perform this technique he just has to create two massive Mochi arms that have the ability to float in the air and imbue them with Armament Haki.

Upon benign launch, it managed to penetrate the defenses of Luffy’s Gear Fourth- Bounce man, despite the form being known for its defensive feats.

3. Mochi Kinchaku

It is said to be the superior version of Chikara Mochi. Also known as Mochi Singing Result.

This was used when Katakyri created multiple fists in the air. Somehow same as when he uses the Power Mochi, and unleashes them on his opponents with relentless fury.

The fists are coated with Armament Haki, which adds some serious force to their already deadly firepower.

2. Nagare Mochi

Also named Flowing Mochi, this technique of his is an awakening ability using which he turns every nonliving thing into  Mochi just by touching them, directly or indirectly.

When he used this power in the mirror world, Katakuri turned a large portion of the world into Mochi and used the sticky nature of Mochi to trap Luffy. This power of his was so powerful that even Luffy wasn't able to react back.

1. Zan Giri Mochi

It is the most powerful move of Katakuri in the entire manga series that he has only used twice, that too against Luffy. To perform this all he has to do is turn his body into a donut and roll towards his target opponent.

Using the momentum to his advantage and increasing his attack power, he proceeds to hit his enemies with his inflated forearm that is fully covered with Mochi Spikes. Katakuri adds advanced Armaments Haki to his arms too. This attack gave some wounds to Luffy too.
