Naruto Shippuden Episode 246 is an overwhelmingly emotional episode for the viewers of Naruto. Originally, there was no plot of Naruto meeting his parents.
But after Kishimoto himself became a father, he changed the plot.
When Naruto tried to take control of Kurama and was almost consumed by the extreme emotions of hate and malice.
Kushina Uzumaki tried to take over his body when Kushina’s chakra intervened. Following this,
Naruto and Kushina Uzumaki have a conversation about three important outcomes.
1. Kushina Uzumaki Helped Naruto to take Control of Kurama
Kushina shares her story about how she met Minato in the Ninja Academy.
She also tells Naruto that she was bullied because of the color of her hair.
One day, she got kidnapped by the ninjas of another village. Minato comes to save her as he notices her ‘beautiful hair’ right away.
This makes her fall in love with Minato. Upon sharing this, Kushina tells Naruto that she loves him.
This along with Kushina’s chakra helps him to gain control of Kurama’s chakra.
Once Kushina does, she realizes that she has a little bit more time to spend with her son. She shares the details of the night of Naruto’s birth.
2. She shared the Details of the Night of Naruto’s Birth
At the time when Kushina Uzumaki was pregnant, Minato was the Hokage of Konoha.
She tells her son that she was the previous jinchuriki of the nine tails.
She was brought from another village for the sole purpose of becoming the vessel of the nine tails.
The seal of a female jinchuriki is weakest at the time of giving birth.
The place and the time were kept secret except for very few people.
Yet, the masked man from Akatsuki was aware of both the location and the time.
Right after Kushina gives birth to Naruto, the man comes and kills the rest of the Anbu and Biwako Sarutobi.
He extracts the nine tails after taking Naruto hostage.
Minato saves Naruto and goes after the masked man who goes to attack the village after putting the nine tails under the control of his Sharingan.
Minato saves the village by defeating his opponent and releasing the nine tails from his control.
Although free from the control of the masked man, the nine tails wreak havoc due to their spiteful nature.
Kushina was alive even after the tailed beast was extracted from her.
Minato reveals that he will use a ‘reaper seal’ to seal one-half of the nine tails within himself.
When he tried to seal the other half in Naruto, the nine tails try to kill Naruto. Minato and Kushina both sacrifices their life for their son.
They hope that the dreams and hopes that they carried pass onto him.
The third Hokage promises them that he will take care of the child.
3. Kushina Uzumaki filled Naruto with Love
There is nothing in the world as precious as a mother’s love for her child.
In the few minutes that Kushina Uzumaki gets to spend with Naruto, he can take control of the nine tails and hear his mother’s story.
The absolute faith that Kushina had for Naruto is the reason he believed in himself more.
Kushina’s love made Naruto believe that he can make all his dreams come true.
The departure of Kushina’s chakra from Naruto’s psyche made not only Naruto but every one of us watching emotional.
After this, Naruto becomes stronger and achieves all his dreams and the dreams entrusted to him.
