Kai Chisaki, Character Sketch of a Villain

Kai Chisaki is the main antagonist of the Overhaul Arc. He was the Yakuza who experimented on Eri and made the Quirk-Destroying Drug.
Kai was in the Tartarus prison until his escape due to the riot caused by All For One.
He has narrow built and shaggy auburn hair.
Kai has thin eyes with small gold irises. We see him wearing a plague doctor mask at the beginning which eventually gets removed.
Kai also lost both his arms to the League of Villains, Mr. Compress, and Tomura Shigaraki.
Quirk: Overhaul
Kai Chisaki’s Quirk allows him the ability to dismantle whatever he touches.
Also, he can rearrange anything in the ways he wants.
As a result, he can kill someone or if he wishes, can heal the wounds by reassembling their body.
Kai can use his Quirk on himself and fuse his body with others as he does with Shin Nemoto and Rikiya Katsukame.
He can make body modifications when required without having to make contact with himself.
Chisaki can re-grow his limbs and reshape his body any way he wants.
Kai can also use his Quirk to manipulate his surroundings.
He has the advantage because he can reshape the area in a battle to throw off his opponents.
Additionally, if he touches his target he can kill them by blowing their body apart.
The Villain Kai Chisaki
Kai Chisaki is germophobic and believes in his idea and aims to make the world the way it was before the Quirk phenomena.
He believes that Quirk gave people the idea or as he calls “syndromes” of heroism and villainy. Kai believes these to be a “sickness”.
Chisaki views people as utility and is willing to experiment on them to achieve his ultimate aim.
Even the members of his organization are expendables. He kills them for small mistakes.
As we have seen, even Eri who is a small child is not spared. Kai uses her for his objective and abuses her by threatening her.
Kai Chisaki has only ever shown concern for the boss of the organization, Shie Hassaikai.
The boss who rescued Kai from the streets and raised him is the only person he feels deeply indebted.
However, Chisaki still could not agree to his boss’s disagreement with his plan.
This results in, Kai attacking the boss and leaving him in a comatose state.

Kai was ruthless and extremely violent. He would kill anyone who failed to show respect to the boss.
Kai’s boss tried to steer him to a more honorable course to keep him from becoming any more violent.
Instead, Chisaki became more violent and was convinced that illegal dealing was the way to restore the honor of the organization.
Kai took over the organization with the twisted belief that every illegal thing he was doing was for the sake of the organization and his boss.
Kai Chisaki finally showed fear when the League of Villains took away his products and also his ability to use his Quirk.
His intention was to rid the world of Quirk phenomena by using the Quirk of Eri, but ultimately he was left with no Quirk.
