The 31-year-old actor charms the hearts of his fans through his amazing acting and brilliant performance. Lee Jong Suk has starred in several movies and Kdramas, and almost every single project he’s worked in will leave you in awe.

Lee Jong Suk has many awards and accolades under his belt and made a debut with Princess Prosecutor drama in 2010. The actor got his major breakthrough with School 2013, and he won The Best New Actor in 2012 for the same drama. Lee Jong Suk went for compulsory military service on March 8 2019 and was discharged on January 2 2021.

The fans are happy and pleased now that Lee Jong Suk’s military service over, the Korean actor will be back with brand new projects. His new movie Decibel is slated to release sometime in the future, as the filming began in April 2021. Fans are looking forward to his new movies and dramas.

High Kick 3 is a 2011 MBC drama starring veteran actors and is a sitcom. The drama has 123 episodes, but don’t get discouraged by the huge number of episodes as everyone episode is totally worth the time.

Lee Jong Suk plays one of the central characters and like the previous instalments, is unlucky in love, as he has an unrequited love. The prime casts include Ahn Ne Sang, Yoon Yoo Sun, Yoon Kye Sang, Krystal, Seo Ji Suk, Park Ha Sun and Lee Jong Suk.

6. I can Hear Your Voice

In the 2013 SBS drama, I can hear Your Voice starts out a bit slow, but as the series progresses, Lee Bo Young and Lee Jong Suk totally captivate the fans.

Lee Jong Suk plays the role of Soo Ha who can hear the thoughts of other people. He is telepathic, kinda reminds you of the anime “The Disastrous Life of Saiki K”, but well you get the gist.

Lee Bo Young is absolutely flawless in the drama and surprisingly they made a good couple.   other main casts include Yoon Sang Hyun, Lee Da Hee and Jung Woong In. Yoon Sang Hye and Lee Jong Suk worked together previously in Secret Garden.

5. W: Two Worlds Apart

The 2016 Kdrama W: Two Worlds Apart aired in MBC and one of the most hyped dramas of the year, Honestly this drama was good in the first half, but the second half kina tanked. Can’t blame the cast, but the sloppy writers are responsible for the mess.

Nevertheless, W: Two Worlds Apart is a must-watch, at least for one time watch because of Lee Jong Suk. The plot takes place inside a webtoon universe and somehow the writer made a blunder and everyone started coming to life.

The drama was disappointing, however, Lee Jong Suk’s acting was amazing. He won several awards for the drama and rightfully deserves it!

4. Doctor Stranger

The 20 episode SBS drama revolves around doctors where Lee Jong Suk plays the role of a genius surgeon who was trained in North Korea. He was separated from his lover and escaped to South Korea where he got recruited in a reputed hospital.  

This drama is absolute binge-worthy multiple times. You can never get bored seeing the actor who played both serious and comedic roles in the Kdrama. Doctor Stranger stars Park Hae Jin, Jin Se-Yun and Kang so Ra in lead roles including Lee Jong Suk.

3. Pinocchio

The 2014 SBS drama Pinocchio revolves around reporters and media manipulation. Lee Jong Suk gets separated from his family, his brother played by Yoon Gyun Sang and later, they have a tearful and sad reunion.

The drama tries to show Park Shin Hye as a reporter who cannot lie and will start hiccupping if she lies. Main casts also include Kim Young Kwang, Lee Yoo Bi, and Lee Pil Mo.

Jung Woong In does a cameo in the series from I can Hear your heart drama. It was absolutely funny! But that wasn’t the only interesting cameo in the Kdrama. Yoon Sang Hyun also has a cameo in the drama as a lawyer defending his brother.

2. School 2013

School 2013 is a highly recommended drama starring Lee Jong Suk, Kim Woo Bin, Jang Nara and Choi Daniel. This was a really heartfelt and feel-good drama that portrayed the life culture in South Korean school in 2013.

Lee Jong Suk and Jang Nara both received awards for this Kdrama. The scenes between Lee Jong Suk and Kim Woo Bin were priceless and their friendship will make you cry tears of buckets.

The 2017 SBS Kdrama While You were Sleeping stars Lee Jong Suk, Bae Suzy, Jung Hae In, Ko Sung Hee and Lee Sang Yeob in the main roles. Lee Jong Suk plays the role of a prosecutor who solves cases and somehow gets intertwined with Bae Suzy and Jung Hae In.

The trio and the entire cast did an amazing job and the drama will instantly get you hooked. While You Were Sleeping is the best drama of Lee Jung Suk and it’s a great drama worthy of binge material.

The drama was highly rated and Lee Jong Suk received the Best Actor  (Wednesday & Thursday drama) and Best Couple Award with Bae Suzy.
