His first name is also a combination of two words. The 'Fumi' in his name means 'step' and 'Kage' means 'shadow'. His name defines a boy stepping through shadows in combat. The shadow here means his quirk 'Dark Shadow'.

It has many meanings, such as the day of the midnight meeting held by witches. However, according to biblical tradition, Sabbath means to rest. It commemorates the original seventh day of the year which God rested after completing the creation.
His other move 'Ragnarok' has symbolism in Greek mythology. It means the final destruction of the world in the conflict between the Aesir and the powers of Hel led by Loki.
