It's been almost 2 weeks since the show 'Wednesday' premiered on Netflix. The show is about the Wednesday Addams, a character from the 90s movie, The Addams Family. The show is actually a spin-off of the movie and focuses on the life of Wednesday Addams.
Daughter of Gomez and Morticia Addams, Wednesday is a cold and emotionless girl with a defiant nature. Wednesday changed 8 schools in 5 years due to her characteristic nature of not being able to set in and finally, her parents enroll her in Nevermore Academy in Jericho, Vermont, a school for monstrous outcasts once attended by her themselves.

Wednesday finds it difficult to connect with her schoolmates and causes her to run afoul of the school's principal. However, she discovers she has psychic abilities that allow her to take a glimpse at the past or future whenever she touches a specific object and this helps her to solve a local murder mystery.
Jenna Ortega flawlessly portrays the role of Wednesday Addams. The ensemble cast also includes Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzmán, Emma Myres, Percy Hynes Whyte, Joe Sunday, Gwendoline Christie, Riki Lindhome, Jamie McShane, Fred Armisen, and Christina Ricci.

Wednesday is riding the high horses as it has exploded into the #1 most-watched show on Netflix in its first week of release, beating out Stranger Things Season 4. The show is receiving highly positive response from the audience and critics and is continuously trending in Netflix.
Why Wednesday's Iconic Dance is a treat to watch?
When Wednesday Addams started busting a move to “Goo Goo Muck” by The Cramps in Episode 4 of Wednesday, when Nevermore Academy organises the Rave'N Dance and people couldn't, and still can't, get enough of it. Along with the success of the show in general, people are absolutely loving the dance.

Everyone who has watched the show is all praises for Jenna Ortega's portrayal as Wednesday Addams. While she has seemed like the perfect person for Wednesday since the first teaser, one of the major reasons people seem to really be gravitating toward her now on social media is this fabulous dance.
Another interesting Fact about the dance was that Jenna Choreographed it herself, as she explained in a video for Netflix. The cast also gushed over Wednesday’s moves, calling it one of the favorite moments in the show.

According to Ortega, she took inspiration from the Original Wednesday from 'The Addams Family', Christina Ricci (who is interestingly a part of this show as some other character). Another fact that makes the dance even more intriguing is that the actress never blinked during the whole sequence. It was almost as if she was possessed in some way (which she was not).

This dance trend appears to be rocking the internet and the show is a hit, as more fans recreate the dance, and continue to praise Ortega for her creepy and kooky dance moves.

Tune in to Wednesday on Netflix to find out what else is brewing in the Nevermore Academy and Wednesday's new adventures there.
