The Anime community has come far over the past few years.
Now it has come to a point where, if you don’t know what JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure is, you’re pretty much new to this community, let alone the anime world.
JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure manga series is by Hirohiko Araki sensei, who also pens the truly unique art style of this series.
The level of acknowledgment his art had received has gone far enough to be featured at the Louvre.
The anime series made by Hirohiko Araki was brought to life by none other than A.P.P.P studios and David Productions.
Falling under the genre of Fantasy, Adventure fiction, and Occult fiction; the story itself is built around its main character, who goes by the nickname of “Jojo”.
JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Manga is set in a world much similar to our own real world, but with one big exception; supernatural forces and beings, to boot!
Most of the people in this series revolves around possessing Stands.
In other terms, they manifest their spiritual power in the physical world through these Stands. And like Chakra is to Naruto, these characters thrive off Hamon.
Is JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Manga Overrated?
Even among countless other anime, Jojo’s stands out more than your average anime. “Why?”, you may ask.
Well, the answer is both very simple and complicated at the same time!
It’s unique, entertaining, ridiculous (at times), cinematic and most of all enjoyable. If you liked anime like Akame Ga Kill, Fate/Zero, Naruto, Ao no Exorcist, and Noragami, you’re bound to like this.

The rivalry built up between the main character Jojo and his adopted brother Dio. Even iconic that even people who haven’t watched this anime nor read this manga, know about it.
It’s for certain that at some point, the “Oh, you’re approaching me?” memes had appeared on your unsuspecting feed or dashboard.
Its unique art style and almost endless variations have caught even the biggest of normies off-guard. Thus the fateful confrontation has spanned far beyond the confines of this series.
How many Seasons are there?
JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Manga has eight arcs in total, each one follows the adventures of a new Joestar family descendant (Jojo’s family), as they go through their dramatic, funny yet intriguing journeys.
Each arc is so unique from all its predecessors, each time a new kind of drama, new (maybe even ridiculous) powers, and last but not least, new character designs which are so out-of-this-world.
Araki sensei’s art style and sense of fashion stem from his passion for American pop music culture.

He also seems to have a knack for Italian culture, which he showcases throughout the series through hilarious scenes.
The color pallet is ever so vivid and diverse, sensei has not held back on unleashing even the most orthodox of colors at his viewers at the strangest places and at the wildest of times.
And like most other beloved anime, with villains whom fans can totally sympathize with and relate to, maybe even side with over the protagonists..
JoJo’s features many absurd yet understandable antagonists whom fans have come to love.
This does not mean, in the slightest, that the protagonists and supporting cast are any less lovable.
In fact, it would be quite surprising if one doesn’t fall for one.
The cast in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Manga is so diverse, in every aspect, that it may as well extend beyond the reaches of the known anime universe.
Watched it and loved it? Well, awesome then, hang on tight for further great content from Hirohiko Araki sensei.
