As the big day finally came, the Cats and the Crows were standing right in front of each other. It was always said that Karasuno was the best team in the Miyagi prefecture and Neko was the best team in the Tokyo prefecture but they never came across each other in the court.

When they were standing in front of each other, Hinata encountered Kenma and was shocked to see him. It was then that he realised that Kenma already knew him when they met before. He knew him as Hinata was wearing the ‘Karasuno High School’ t-shirt. Hinata told Kageyama that he already knew the opponent’s setter, Kenma as he met him on the road training day.

Coach Ukai greeted their coach who was a friend of his grandfather. Then the match finally started and after Karasuno scored their first point everybody was shocked to see Hinata and Kageyama’s team work.

Hinata’s quick reflexes always felt like a shock for someone who saw him playing for the first time. Because of Hinata and Kageyama’s teamwork the first set went on smoothly.

The Neko team was bewildered for a moment but Kenma realised that he had to do something so that he could stop Hinata. Kenma tried to find out where the Karasuno’s were weak so that he could use their weakness against them and Kenma finally realised that Hinata only spiked his ball where there was nobody to block him. So Kenma gave clear instructions to keep an eye on Hinata but Kageyama understood that they were going to mark Hinata.

Kenma’s strategy actually worked out and the Neko’s won the second set of the mach. Hinata lost his hope to play for a minute but Kageyama warned him to not lose hope as he would get out of it. The coach asked Kageyama to change his toss. He suggested him to give Hinata an indirect toss instead of a direct one.

It didn’t work out at first but as the number of tosses increased Hinata got a hang of the indirect toss. He was able to hit one ball but it went out of the court. Everybody was shocked to see Hinata’s willpower and love that he had for volleyball. Hinata confessed to Kageyama that he’d helped him overcoming his fear of being blocked. Earlier when he was trying to hit the ball to the other side of the court he was afraid of being blocked but now if the blocker runs towards him it excites him.

But as Karasuno’s technique had been revealed, will they still be able to win the match?
