Oh dear, this is the dumbest anime plot ever but the show had a weird addictive charm that makes you want to binge the entire show in one day. The Netflix anime Backstreet Girls Gokudols shows the hard life of Idols that we can sympathise with.
The Idols are human too but have to work hard to please their fans. The only dumb plot which might be not that funny yet intriguing is the mafia touch and retransformation undertaken by three Yakuza members to transform into the famous Idols.
Three Yakuzas become pop idols and continue to struggle while working to the bones. The twisted sense of humor will get you as we get to see how Mari, Airi and Chika manage the idol life.
1. Hinamatsuri
The 2018 anime series Hinamatsuri is top of the dumb anime list because of many reasons. The show is a perfect blend of comedy, supernatural, childcare and organized crime.
Another Yakuza-based anime to stream on Netflix. Hinamatsuri shows the life of Nitta, a yakuza whose life gets upside down when he meets an alien Hina. now in charge of taking care of her, both of them develop a special bond, but Hina is more than what Nitta could have bargained for.
