Some people say Demon Slayer is overrated, some say it is underrated and some say it is adequately rated. Regardless of how people feel about the show itself, there is one thing that has everyone’s consensus - Inosuke is the best boy.
Demon Slayer has an abundance of endearing characters but even amongst them, Inosuke Hashibira stands out.
Inosuke is a short-tempered and proud young man who believes he is the strongest fighter in any situation, constantly challenging most people he meets and wanting others to respect and praise him for his skill.
He was raised in the wild without any human interaction. This often shows in his personality and cluelessness around normal human interaction. He appears to frequently assume that people who approach him want to attack him and does not appear to recognize the kindness others show to him.
However, with time Inosuke grows into himself and starts to appreciate the people around him. That said, let's discuss his love life. Who does Insokue Hashibira end up with?
Aoi Kanzaki
Aoi Kanzaki and Inosuke met each other for the first time at the Butterfly Mansion when Tanjiro, Inosuke and Zenitsu were there to recover and train.
Inosuke struggled to beat Aoi in all of the tasks at first because he lacked willpower. He was eventually able to adapt and defeat her. In comparison to Zenitsu and Tanjiro, he was harsher on her.
He was one of the slayers who volunteered in Aoi's place to accompany Tengen on a mission to the Entertainment District.
Inosuke was carried back to the Butterfly Mansion after the battle with Upper Moon 6. Aoi was visibly upset about Inosuke's terrible condition because he had poison coursing through his body and she believed it was too late to stop the bleeding.
Her tears, however, were quickly wiped away as he dropped the ceiling off. She began to see him as a nuisance again and began to argue with Inosuke as usual.
At the Butterfly Mansion, he goes out of Tanjiro's room and heads to the kitchen to get some food. He tries to steal food behind Aoi's back, but she notices him.
She hands him over a rounded tray of food that is made only for Inosuke and tells him that he can eat how much and whenever he wants from that tray.
After this gesture, Inosuke visibly starts to see her in a good light. Eventually, she and Inosuke Hashibira marry and having a great-grandson named Aoba Hashibira.
Of course, there is more to their relationship than Aoi offering Inosuke free food. However, we would like to believe it was food that bound them together forever or at least triggered their love story.
