He lives together with his adoptive father/uncle and his friend/brother Seung Beom.
Police University Kdrama opens with Seung Beom asking Sun Ho a favor to hack the screens during a Judo match where his friend would propose to his crush.
Sun Ho complies with his friend’s wishes, only there’s a slight twist. Sun Ho, who’s unmotivated and has no dreams meets Kang Hee, a Judo athlete competing in the same tournament as his friend.

Sun Ho has been living in eggshells around his friend and adoptive father.
Without any dream or motivation for the future, he ends up literally stalking his crush, Kang Hee.
His school gave him forms to apply to Police University and coincidentally, he becomes aware of Kang Hee’s dreams as well.

With enough motivation, and his crush to pursue, Sun Ho applies to the Korean Police University and cracks the first two rounds.
But the future has something else in fate for him. Dong Man is a veteran detective who’s chasing a gang of online gambling and illegal activities.
He tries to go undercover and loses a lot of money. He causes an accident and somehow gets involved with Sun Ho’s dada. Due to the accident, his dad’s chronic health condition was found.
It requires a lot of money for the surgery, which motivates Sun Ho to commit cybercrime and cashes $7000.
He hacks the illegal online gambling sites, gets money, and pays for the operation. Unfortunately for him, Dong Man traces him and arrests Sun Ho and his friend Seung Beom.
Their dad pleads earnestly, which softens the detective, so he releases them but with a warning; never to appear in front of him.
As fate would have been unpredictable, Sun Ho clears the Police University exams and goes for the interview round.
Guess who the interview panel has! Dong Man strongly opposes his interview, but the other panelists ignore him anyway.
Sun Ho clears the round and arrives at the Police University, only to find his obstacles growing.
Dong Man is the instructor of the hell training in the Police University and he has no plans of going easy on him.
