The TvN/Netflix hit is back with a brand new Korean Drama Business Proposal. Business Proposal is a Korean drama that started airing in February 2022, starring Ahn Hyo Seop, Kim Se Jeong, Kim Min Kyu and Seol In A in main roles.
Business Proposal Kdrama is one of few Kdramas that has a charming and addicting effect- you can’t stop watching once you begin. What made the drama quite appealing were the characters besides the quite cliche yet entertaining plot.

The premise of Business Proposal Kdrama begins with the totally perfect, Mr Workaholic trying to escape wedding bells, but guess who’s not happy with Kang Tae Moo?!
Kang Tae Moo’s grandpa wanted him to settle down, get married and give him the good news of grandkids. Like yeah, that’s so not happening anytime soon.
A reluctant Kang Tae Moo agrees to entertain his grandpa’s wishes to escape from the arranged date/marriage setting and decides to meet his prospective date, Ms Jin Yeong Seo of the Marine Group.
As Kang Tae Moo arrives at the date spot, he’s in for a life-changing shocking surprise. We saw it coming, as Kang Tae Moo falls head over heels after meeting the so-called “Jin Yeong Seo” and even agrees to the marriage proposal.
This should be happy news, but wait for it, someone is really not happy, not the real Jin Seo Yeong at least!
Friends Forever- Till Death Tears us Apart?
Shin Ha Ri and Jin Yeong Seo are besties and they sure act like it. The crazy duo has a weird drinking habit and they can cause a lot of predicaments for Shin Ha Ri’s parents.
The news of a wedding date arrangement didn’t thrill Jin Yeong Seo as she hatches a plan with Shin Ha Ri to sabotage the date like they always did in the past.
What Jin Yeong Seo probably didn’t see it coming was a tough candidate like Kang Tae Moo who needs an escape from his grandpa who would do anything to get him hitched.
Shin Ha Ri goes in place of Jin Yeong Seo to turn down the marriage request. She tried multiple ways to turn Kang Tae Moo off, but none of her antics worked.
Shin Ha Ri’s life almost got in trouble when she realized that Kang Tae Moo is her company’s employer.
If Kang Tae Moo ever found out the truth, she could kiss her job goodbye forever. No matter the reason, impersonating someone is still considered fraud.
Shin Ha Ri is a talented researcher at Go Food, and even Kang Tae Moo was aware of her as an employee.
Although Shin Ha Ri barely escaped, Kang Tae Moo was fixated on the fake “Jin Yeong Seo” and was determined to get married to her.
Trouble started brewing for Jin Yeong Seo and Shin Ha Ri when the situation escalated.
The fake “Jin Yeong Seo” aka Shin Ha Ri met Kang Tae Moo again to sternly turn down the marriage proposal.

Meanwhile, Jin Yeong Seo had a crazy and surreal encounter with a perfect stranger. Meeting Mr Perfect, Jin Yeong Seo fell in love at first sight with the handsome Cha Sung Hoon.
Unaware of the tragedy awaiting her, Jin Yeong Seo became Cha Sung Hoon’s neighbour. It was definitely fate that brought them together, but there’s a lot of angst and regret awaiting Jin Yeong Seo.
As Shin Ha Ri couldn’t play the fake role of Jin Yeong Seo and deceive Kang Tae Moo anymore, the real Jin Yeong Seo decided to disclose the truth.
Shocked by the deceiving actions, Kang Tae Moo was irritated yet he wanted to meet Shin Ha Ri. After going through the torment on endless dates set by his grandpa, Kang Tae Moo realised that it was love at first sight for him.
Kang Tae Moo feels for the crazy Shin Ha Ri and no matter who he met, they left no impression on him as he was attracted towards Shin ha Ri without understanding it was love.
Unfortunately for Jin Yeong Seo whose story got crushed even before it began. Kang Tae Moo and Cha Sung Hoon are not just the typical employer-employee, they have a personal relationship as well.
Jin Yeong Seo’s lies didn’t sit well with Cha Sung Hoon who clearly drew a line and cut her off from his life. Although they were neighbors, Cha Sung Hoon was strictly clear about not wanting to interact or cross paths with Jin Yeong Seo.
Jin Yeong Seo was definitely hurt, but she wasn’t going to give up on love so soon. Unfortunately, Shin Ha Ri was not so lucky.
Already struggling with a 7-year one-sided crush over Chef Lee Min Woo, Shin Ha Ri now has to deal with Kang Tae Moo and become Shin Geum Hui to avoid getting discovered by her boss.
