Asta is one of the members of the Black Bull squad of the Clover kingdom. Born without any magic, he relies on his muscular strength.
Even before the time skip, Asta is one of the powerful characters who has improved a lot from the start.
Not only he has increased his strength and endurance but understood how the battles are fought.
He is the sole reason behind the improvement and the participation of his fellow squad members in different missions.
Let’s have a look at how Asta was before the time skip and how he changed after it in a span of 6 months.
Asta Before the Time Skip
Before the time skip, Asta fights the members of Eye of Midnight Sun. Further, he fights a devil along with Yuno and the others.
Asta’s skills are acknowledged by the current Wizard King as well as the first wizard King of the Clover Kingdom.
Many have acknowledged his endurance against any difficult situation, one of them being Secre who was with Asta and has watched over him for a long period of time.
Asta being an anti-magic user uses certain spells like Bull thrust, Black Meteorite, and Black Hurricane.
He is able to use these spells because of anti-magic swords and him being absolutely mana-less.
Before the time skip, he could also concentrate to find out ki which he learner from his captain.
It allows him to figure out the unseen things. During the time skip, Asta along with Noelle, Mimosa, and others train in the heart kingdom.
The magic knights participated in training in order to make themselves strong enough to fight the devils of the spade kingdom.
After the Time Skip
The first glimpse of Asta’s progress can be seen when the mobile fortress of the Spade kingdom is crossing over the grand magic zone.
The mobile fortress, otherwise known as Candelo got its energy from the magic of the people.
When Lolopechka tells Asta and others about the ill-treatment of the people inside Candelo, Asta rushes to save innocent people.
By using his Demon Slayer sword, he defeats the soldiers of the Spade kingdom.
Although the training in the Heart Kingdom was primarily for the magic knights who possessed a large amount of mana, Asta improved a lot even after being magic-less.
This was acknowledged by Gadjah of the Heart kingdom. Asta also fights with Dante Zogratis, a member of the Dark Triad.
At first, he is defeated by Dante but when Yami, the captain of the Black Bull arrives and they together fight it, they are able to defeat it.
This shows that Asta, after the time skip is at a whole new level.
