There is no good hero without a good villain. Even Though, the hero is what is known in an anime. However, Villains are a very important part of any anime.

Isabella worked as the caretaker of the Grace Field House. Although initially, she appeared as a loving and affectionate mother, her character was twisted in a lot of ways.
She was a cold-hearted person who was working in the human trafficking business. Bella took a fatal wound from a demon and was not able to recover. Eventually, she died.

Esdeath was basically the Grim Reaper in a uniform, known as the black cat of the show.
