Be it Naruto vs. Sasuke, Goku vs. Vegeta, or Saitama vs. Boros, there can only be one winner.

Fight scenes are prevalent in one particular genre- the Shonen genre.

Perhaps, it is because teenagers love watching two characters beat each other up to a pulp.

On that note, awesome powers and plot twists are revealed.

In addition to that, whether it’s guns, swords, or fists, they all provide an exciting experience that pumps some adrenaline into us.

With many upcoming anime such as My Hero Academia, Attack on Titan, and more, new fights are getting us addicted.

This list is in no particular order.

1. Naruto vs. Sasuke (Shippuden)

This had to be on the list. Firstly, Naruto has some amazing fights some of them being Jiraiya vs Pain or Naruto vs Pain, but Naruto vs.

Sasuke tops them all. Firstly, the story revolves around Naruto and Team 7, therefore making this fight one of the greatest.

Naruto and Sasuke are on the opposite sides of the spectrum and it is especially seen when Sasuke leaves the village to follow his own path.

Secondly, due to Sasuke’s unending feelings of vengeance, they had conflicting views on being a ninja.

This fight, being the final fight between them, was the ultimate form of communicating their feelings.

They were also at full strength, probably the strongest they’ve ever been.

2. Saitama vs. Lord Boros (One Punch Man)

Saitama went through rigorous training to become incredibly strong. He exercised every day just to gain immense strength and went through tough training.

The fight was memorable and finally showed the fruits of his labor. Saitama had one goal- to become so strong he could defeat anything with one punch.

The fight with Lord Boros was exactly what Saitama had longed for and the ultimate move to defeat the villain is with a powerful punch.

3. Levi vs. Beast Titan (Attack on Titan)

Fans of Attack on Titan know that Levi Ackerman is undoubtedly the strongest soldier of humanity.

He is one of the most famous and loved characters of AOT.

One of the most defining moments of his character was the fight against the Beast Titan.

Moreover, Levi did not let Erwin’s sacrifice end in vain. Levi fought the Beast Titan after Erwin had died.

This scene provided a glimpse into Levi’s unstoppable powers and skill.

He managed to slash the Titan with incredible speed, defeating him.

4. Jotaro vs. Dio (Jojo’s Bizarre Adventures)

Jotaro is a clever fighter and is the protagonist of Part 3, Stardust Crusaders.

Dio is a vampire, hence he can fly and his ability, Stand, can make him stop time as well.

Given that both of them have different abilities, the fight proved to be quite exciting.

The best part about the fight was Jotaro’s ultimate card. He was able to defeat Dio using Star Platinum and a final punch.

Since Jotaro lost Kakyoin, he evolved the power of the Star Platinum to defeat Dio. This is one of the most iconic fights in Jojo’s Bizarre Adventures.

5. Midoriya vs. Todoroki (My Hero Academia)

Izuku Midoriya was kind of known as a late bloomer. He was also constantly bullied for not being able to use any powers.

His determination stems from his admiration for the heroes and their role in society. Midoriya had always wanted to become a hero and pursue it.

The fight between Midoriya and Todoroki was like a show-down of what being a hero meant to them.

The whole arena was wiped out by Midoriya when he launched blast after blast One for All and Todoroki had created mountains of ice and flames to counter him.

This was a battle that birthed two new heroes.

6. Gaara vs. Rock Lee (Naruto)

One of the most intense and best anime fights that unfolded many secrets led to the near destruction of the Leaf Village.

Gaara hails from the Sand Village who is also a Jinchuuriki.

Unbeknownst to Rock Lee, he was fighting a strong opponent that may have crushed his body but not his spirit.

Moreover, this fight revealed Rock Lee’s potential as a ninja who cannot use ninjutsu nor genjutsu.

7. Roy Mustang vs. Lust (Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood)

Colonel Roy Mustang is not usually the kind of person who would look for personal revenge. He is inspired for a better future and positive about his surroundings.

He is also very smart and is known as the Flame Alchemist.

This fight had to be included in the list because of how satisfying the result of the fight was.

This is one of the best anime fights because of the intensity of the fight.

When Colonel Roy Mustang, the Flame Alchemist battled the cold-hearted, cunning homunculi Lust, one of them was bound to die.

Lust is probably one of the scariest anime characters ever.

8. Netero vs. Mereum (Hunter x Hunter)

Netero vs. Mereum is probably one of the best anime fights of shonen.

This was a well-choreographed fight considering the differences in power levels between the two.

Mereum is the King of Chimera Ants and one of the strongest characters of the series whereas Netero was very powerful for his age.

The clash between them showed the differences in powers. Even though Netero was strong, Mereum didn’t budge from his powers.

Nonetheless, Netero’s sacrifice helped defeat Mereum.

9. Spike vs Vicious (Cowboy Bebop)

The fight between Spike and Vicious was short but eventful.

It occurred in Episode 5: Ballard of Fallen Angels, where the once comrades of a crime syndicate had a bittersweet fight.

When Vicious’s men killed Julia, who were all part of a sordid love triangle, before Spike could get her to safety, resulted in a fight between the two.

The now broken Spike who acted on vengeance decided to kill Vicious.

10. Ichigo vs. Byakuya (Bleach)

In his career as a Soul Reaper, Ichigo finally came face-to-face with Byakuya, to recuse Rukia.

Bleach might’ve had a lot of fillers but the fights can keep you going. Byakuya is a master of swordsmanship and can kill anyone effortlessly. He is lethal.

Ichigo has an advantage- he possesses the Bankai, which is sort of the highest level of power, which helps him defeat villains.

This fight is different from the other fights in the series which is why fans remember it to this day.
